Integration Planning
An industrial robot arm price is not a useful figure until the quoted envelope is frozen. Decide orientation at each task position, whether payload includes gripper and carried equipment, and how interrupted machine-loading cycles are recovered. Only then can factories price the same scope. This page is a procurement decision dossier, not an engineering stamp and not a compliance certificate. Compare inquiry options after those questions have answers, even if the answers are “still open, please quote two routes.”
Decision dossier
| Decision point | Evidence or question |
|---|---|
| Questions to resolve: Upstream | What decision must be resolved before specifying industrial robot arm price? Freeze the workpiece, gripper mass and approach vectors, or explicitly ask factories to price two gripper families. A price that assumes an empty flange will not survive the first tool drawing. |
| Control boundary | Can the required orientation be achieved at each task position? A point inside the reach circle is not enough. Ask for a path or simulation that includes the real wrist attitude, nearby equipment and cable routing. Connected load and PLC interface ratings should be stated, then confirmed by the named factory. |
| Downstream | How are interrupted machine-loading cycles recovered, and is that recovery inside the quoted software and training? If SAT excludes fault recovery, the commercial price is not covering the duty the line will actually run. FAT witness, spare parts and installation remain extra unless listed. |
